On Sunday, March 6, 2005 Eleventh Avenue Church celebrated the 55th anniversary of the church, with a special anniversary service. The day of activities included a "homecoming" with services at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., a noon meal, and a 2:00 p.m. service.

Pastor Charles Wages, pastor emeritus of Grace Bible Church in Fort Worth
brought the message at the 11:00 a.m. service.


Eleventh Avenue Church Sr. Pastor R. B. Shiflet and Charles Wages have been friends
for over a half-century, dating back to times before Eleventh Avenue Church was established.




Between services there was plenty of food in the fellowship hall.
