“Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; What better way could we begin the new year than by memorizing the above verses and waking up every morning in 2010 with these words on our lips! I believe doing this would change our outlook and start us off rejoicing in God our Savior. Try it! __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Update from Bentons - Mike Benton (Tanzania) is praising God for the successful end of another school year at the vocational school. Three students graduated from the sewing program and three from the carpentry program. The enrollment was down but it is picking up this year. Insecurity near Kama, Congo - Bill Vinton reports that violence has erupted ten miles from the Kama mission station. The violence has been caused by the Hutu militia who fled Rwanda after the genocide in that country and have been in hiding in the forest in Congo. The insecurity has shut down the ministry of the two mobile teams that are reaching the students in our schools as the team members have returned to Kama to take care of their families. Troops have been sent which is another problem for which we should pray. PTL for the growth of the Bukavu area churches in 2009. The Nguba church has been able to reach and add 70 new members to its membership in the past four months. The present program director has moved back to the States.
