Today’s Quotation: “No one is beyond the reach of God’s love.”—Our Daily Bread

Those from our church family who attended the Oklahoma Bible Camp report a good time of fellowship.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Ernestine and Glen Maner will be celebrating their 70th Wedding Anniversary this afternoon at 2 o’clock in the East Dining Room of Mineral Wells Nursing Home, 316 S. W. 25th Avenue, East Dining Room. Ernestine and Glen and the entire Maner family have been a vital part of this church family since its earliest days. Cards and good wishes will be appreciated.

Morris Sanders went to be with the Lord last weekend. Among his survivors are Nancy McConnell and Shirley Sublett from our church family. He was Louise Blackerby’s brother. Louise was with the Mineral Wells Independent School District for many years and is well known for her many thoughtful acts of kindness.

We continue our prayers for Jack and Juanita Harris, Mrs. Gregg Bing’s parents. Juanita is fighting pancreatic cancer and Jack had to have a leg amputated because of a blood clot. He is now in the City View Rehab Center.

If you can help in the making of a new church directory please see Cindy Rollins. The photographer will be here October 5-9, but much work is involved in this production. It will be worth it! Each family who participates will get a free directory and a free 8x10 color picture.

Our Board Members recently recommended that Eleventh Avenue Church send money to Meals on Wheel to pay for two persons or one couple meals each month. This is a worthwhile ministry.

If you would like to teach a Sunday School Class once a month or be a substitute teacher, please see Charles Mays.

Thank You notes from Sam and Ann, Lela Reeder and Brenda Lewin were read from the pulpit last Sunday.

Evelyn Jackson has given a generous donation to the Camp Fund in loving memory of Ruth Saul. We sincerely appreciate this offering.
