What to Expect
Eleventh Avenue Church is a fellowship of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, meeting for worship, praise, Bible study, fellowship and service. We welcome you to the services and stand ready to be of help to you in your spiritual needs.
Morning Worship: 11:00 a.m.
Ladies Bible Study: 10:00 a.m.
Prayer Meeting & Bible Study: 6:30 p.m.
Q. What is the difference between the services?
In our Bible School hour we have classes for children of various ages, plus an adult Bible Class. Both youth and adult classes delve into God’s word, and are more of a group-study encouraging discussion, answering questions, etc.
Our Morning Worship is a bit more structured with a “sermon” type atmosphere. Currently Pastor Mays is working through I Timothy.
In our Wednesday night services we go more in-depth during our informal Bible Study with a particular subject like the current topic, “The Earthly Ministry of Jesus Christ.”
Q. What Should I Wear?
Wear what makes you comfortable. Women wear dresses, pant-suits or slacks and blouses, while men wear slacks, jeans or a suit and tie. There is no “dress code” at Eleventh Avenue Church.
Q. What about my children?
Children are our future and certainly welcome. There are classes for children during Sunday Morning Bible Study, a Children’s Church during our Sunday Worship hour and classes for children and youth on Wednesday night.
